FengShui
is the ancient Chinese art of balancing wind and water. ?Feng?
stands for ?Wind element? and ?Shui? stands for the ?Water
element?. So Feng Shui means a conglomeration of wind and
water elements Actually Feng Shui was taken from India by
the Chinese several centuries ago. They put some of their
local ideas to suit their own culture and environment into
it. FengShui has several forms and an expert can determine
which form suits whom, when and where. According to Feng Shui,
a house should have the following five elements for FengShui
to be effective. They are a laughing Buddha, an oil lamp
or diya,a bowl of water with flowers in it, a three-legged
frog (not real!) and a pair of mandarin ducks (unreal).
To
remove the negativity from the house, the above items should
be washed with salt water daily. The oil lamps should be
lit up daily in the evening.Wind chimes and bells should
be used extensively to ward off any negative energy prevailing
in the house. Also the Feng Shui in a house should be changed
form time to time as the seasons change. The changes should
be made every three months.
Infact,
Feng Shui is a philosophy- a contemplation of the ancient
Chinese scholars who have explained how natural forces impact
personal life and fortune of an individual. Chinese Lunar
Dates, Zodiac signs, Annual zodiac signs, hexagram and I
-Ching are the leading attributes of Feng Shui. Origin of
Feng Shui dates back to 5000 years. A teacher adept in Feng
Shui principles is called ?Hsien Sheng?. The Feng Shui expert
guides not only about the exterior and the interior of the
house but also takes into account the atmosphere and the
environs prevailing around the house. |
